Unfortunately, although already quite crowded, this specific app market has received a new member, a not-so-well-developed, still rough-around-the-edges participant. Yes, such applications rarely display much innovation incorporated in their structures, but in this particular case, things are situated well below the average.

When looking at this program, you can't help but feel that not enough time has been put into it. It wouldn't be a surprise for such an app to have a standard-looking interface, but in this case, the gray tones, the simple, rectangular buttons, and the poorly integrated logo, all of these elements scream the word unfinished. This particular program can convert your OST files to PST or MBOX. That's it. The question is, why spend money on this particular application when the competition offers more than enough alternatives with plenty more formats to convert to?

Another aspect is the fact that some functions and buttons seem to have been added just to decorate the interface of the program and make it look more reasonable. There is a Stop button for canceling the procedure, although closing the app will render the same results. There are two specific buttons for selecting files and folders, although a browsing option replacing the two would have proved enough. Lastly, the progress bar seems inaccurate. It sits idly at 1% and jumps straight to 100% no matter the number of added files. Still, the results are good. The application does not fail to deliver its advertised functionality.

Magus OST to PST Conversion Tool might be a working application, but paying a sum of money for something that feels unfinished no matter how you look at it is not really a good plan. Even the icon for the app is missing, being replaced by an OS-generated one.
