If you often need to keep an eye on multiple servers, then it’s best if you install an app to help you with pinging them to see if they’re online. Server Ping is a small widget that can be very useful to have around.
The program has a clean interface that is very compact and thus, won’t take over too much of the screen.
As mentioned, the widget can constantly send packets of data to up to five different servers and report back with information regarding their state. When you want to add another server, you must simply fill in its name and the IP address.
A custom refresh rate can be assigned to the job, while the traffic light system can be used regarding the servers’ availability. All the servers are listed on the program’s interface, complete with the activity status.
The widget comes with several other features. For instance, the program’s opacity levels may be modified. You may have the frame always be on top of other programs, thus making it visible, regardless of the apps that are running on the computer.
Server Ping is a nice gadget that can be quite useful for those who often handle multiple servers. Less experienced users should find the program easy to handle, thanks to the intuitive layout and its overall simplicity.
