Create JNG Files

JNG is an acronym for JPEG Network Graphics and it is a graphic file format based on JPEG and related to PNG. Initially developed as a sub-format for the MNG files, JNG can also be used as a standalone format.

Users create JNG files because this format uses lossy compression, while it can also feature an alpha channel which supports transparency.

In order to be able to create JNG images, users will be required to choose a compatible graphic converter.

Typically, JNG creators will allow users to adjust the size and orientation of the source images before exporting them to JNG format.
