Edit JP2 Apps and Alternatives

JP2 is a raster format developed to replace the discrete cosine transform-based JPEG method used for the standard JPEG files with the wavelet compression algorithm.

Using either lossy or lossless compression, JP2 format is based on JPEG 2000 Core Coding, a specialized coding system and graphic compression standard.

In order to be able to modify their JP2 images, users can resort to a specialized graphic editor that supports the format.

Just like JPEG images, JP2 files can be rotated, cropped, flipped or resized using editing applications.
