  • ActivTrak Coach is designed to help managers become more effective coaches, enabling them to:
  • Identify and validate potential issues — like burnout risk, waning productivity, or inefficient workflows — before they become serious problems
  • Increase team productivity, drive employee engagement, and promote healthier work habits
  • Drive collaborative discussions with team members
  • Assess the impact of coaching on team member work habits
  • Stay on top of emerging trends via weekly emails
  • The new Coaching section in the app displays Coaching Opportunities — trends in team members’ work activities that suggest an employee could benefit from manager guidance — along with actionable guidance to address employees’ specific challenges.
  • The Summary tab of the Coaching page shows the number of opportunities your team has in three categories. Drill down into each category to see which team members have Coaching Opportunities and more detail on the work habits that may need to be addressed.
  • Utilization: Review detail on overutilized team members, along with Coaching Advice — specific actions a manager can take to help their team maintain healthy work habits and avoid burnout.
  • Efficiency: Analyze detail on team members who may have an opportunity to gain back personal time by working more efficiently. Get guidance on how managers can remove common efficiency blockers.
  • Focus: Understand which team members are not meeting their Focus goals and have lower-than-recommended Focus Efficiency. Leverage recommendations to help reduce distractions and streamline processes.
  • The Progress tab shows trends in team member work habits to help managers assess whether their coaching is leading to improved behaviors and outcomes.

New in ActivTrak 3.62 Web Console (Jun 24, 2020)

  • Command Center allows Managed Service Providers (MSPs) to manage multiple ActivTrak accounts in a centralized manner through a single pane-of-glass. New in ActivTrak 3.61 Web Console (Jun 18, 2020)

  • ActivTrak’s latest release includes a few enhancements and minor bug fixes. This release includes the ability for admins to limit date options within the filters and improvements to the single day graph within the Productivity report.
  • Limiting Date Options within Filters:
  • With release 3.61, ActivTrak Administrators can configure which date filter options are available for users to select when running reports. Limiting the filter options to shorter date ranges can be helpful to ensure users focus on the appropriate analysis time frames and ensure reports complete as quickly as possible. Administrators can apply these settings by role (administrators vs users).
  • Single Day Graph Improvement:
  • Before this release, the data presented in the Single Day Report of the Productivity Dashboard was inconsistent. This is because within a 5 min block, if there was a mix of productive, unproductive and passive time, the Single Day Graph displayed the 5-min block as the largest of productive or unproductive. Only if the 5-min block has all passive time, the 5-min block will be marked as passive. This logic caused confusion when trying to compare the information against the Productivity Report.
  • With 3.61, we have changed the logic in the Single Day report to give equal footing to productive, unproductive and passive time. For each 5-min block, we mark the block as productive, unproductive or passive based on the larger of the three within that 5-min block. Strict mode logic has not changed with this release (i.e. 5-min blocks with any unproductive time, will be marked as unproductive).

New in ActivTrak 3.54 Web Console (May 19, 2020)

  • With the release of 3.54, ActivTrak now supports Single Sign-On (SSO) for Advanced and Trial plans. When Single Sign-On is enabled, ActivTrak delegates the user authentication process to identity providers that support the SAML 2.0 standard. Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin and many other popular providers support this standard.
  • If Single Sign-On is enabled for a particular account and a user, that user can log in to the ActivTrak app using the new SSO button in the login screen. Furthermore, Administrators can enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for users logging into the ActivTrak application by turning on MFA within the identity provider configured for SSO.
  • We have certified SSO with the following identity providers: Okta, Azure AD, OneLogin and Google Suite. However, all identity providers supporting SAML 2.0 should work seamlessly. Contact Customer Support if you encounter any issues when configuring ActivTrak SSO to work with your identity provider.
  • In Advanced and Trial plans, ActivTrak administrators can enab
