  • Window Size:
  • For a more responsive/immersive experience, turn the ChaseApp window into a fully displayed screen application. Simply click the button on the left hand size as indicated below.
  • Walk Through Prompts:
  • This feature is less relevant to users already signed up to ChaseApp and more for the newbies onboarding. We have implemented a Walk Through that gives prompts and guides users through different sections of the app in order to help users onboard quicker and maximize their ChaseApp experience.
  • Jumping to Explore:
  • Before CMD/CTRL + E was the default keybinding to draw up ChaseApp. Now when you are on any page on ChaseApp, hitting CMD/CTRL + E will redirect you to the "Explore" page providing a more seamless search experience.

  • Share Button:
  • You can now share resources to colleagues and friends!
  • Share a resource to Gmail, Outlook or WhatsApp by clicking the share button and choosing which app to share the resource to
  • Open Files on Desktop:
  • When accessing OneDrive, DropBox, Drive and Box files from ChaseApp, we previously would redirect you to the web app to open the file. With the latest release, ChaseApp will try to open the folder or file directly on your computer first for a faster and more natural experience.

  • What's new:
  • Drag & Drop:
  • Every resource with a file or attachment inside ChaseApp can now be **"Dragged & Dropped"** to your local computer screen or 3rd party app (Gmail, Slack, Notion, etc...)
  • How to "Drag & Drop" resources:
  • You can drag a resource by left clicking on it, without releasing the button and drag the resource to the desired location. Release the mouse button to drop the resource into place.
  • For heavy files the download progress will be shown. When completed you can drag the file from the resource or from the download box.
  • Drag a file or attachment from:
  • Slack
  • Gmail
  • Google Drive
  • Office 365 - Sharepoint, OneDrive
  • GitHub
  • Dropbox
  • Box
  • Jira
  • Where to "Drag & Drop" resources:

  • Pagination:
  • In order for you to search through relevant results, you will now be able to scroll infinitely through relevant results.
  • Scroll through your results by using one of the following:
  • Mouse-scroll
  • Keyboard down/ up arrow
  • Page down/up
  • Results will be contained to cloud results, Mac/PC results and relevant actions:
  • Press `**CTRL**`+`**L`** to receive only local results (To return to all results hit **`CTRL`**+`**SHIFT**`+`**L)**`

  • Saving you time, and having results on stand by we now displays the resources that most relevant for you split into Highlights and Recently viewed.

  • Recently Viewed - Resources that you have recently interacted with:
  • This logic applies applies when utilizing scopes and in HomePage.
  • To avoid duplication, the "Recently Viewed" page has been removed from the list of pages in the Menu.

  • Find files, folders, apps, programs and settings on your PC/Mac by typing the name of the record into ChaseApp and search over your local PC/Mac.
  • The results yielded on a wide local search are limited to avoid flooding.
  • If you would like to only receive local search results, use :This Mac/ :This PC scope at the beginning of your search.
  • The local search is currently not available on Snap for Linux users.
  • Scopes:
  • When typing : at the start of your search, a list will pop up in order to select where to focus your search. Originally, the scope included Apps however in order to enhance the convenience and effectiveness of your search, we have added additional scope layers to this tool. Using the colon you can now jump to:
