What's new in Fiber Navigator Nov 13, 2015
Feb 20, 2018
- Various improvements:
- Fixed direction initialization error when using RT-HARDI tracking.
- Fibernavigator with advanced rendering options such as:
- -Orientation-dependent opacity rendering of fibers (Tax et al. 2015, PLoS ONE)
- -Real-time fiber tractography (Chamberland et al. 2014, Frontiers in Neuroinformatics)
- -Real-time resting-state fMRI (Chamberland et al. 2015, ISMRM Toronto)
- -Tractography-driven resting-state fMRI (Chamberland et al. 2015, Frontiers in Neuroscience)
- Easy step-by-step guide for opacity-rendering:
- Load fa.nii (see exampleData.zip)
- Load subsamp.tck (streamlines dataset)
- Click on top menu "fibers -> use transparent fibers"
- The different menu option (alpha values, local vs global modes, opacity functions, etc) can be found on the properties panel of the streamlines dataset.

New in Fiber Navigator f31251a96a (Mar 26, 2014)
- Various fixes and improvements to the fiber loading mecanisms.
New in Fiber Navigator Revision 1771 (Mar 2, 2013)
- Added the possibility to force the loading of a nifti file as peaks. This helps loading a 5 peaks file, which looks exactly the same as a fourth order ODF file. To use this, use the File Menu->Load Anatomy as Peaks
New in Fiber Navigator Revision 1728 (Nov 21, 2012)
- Fixed a problem when loading anatomies that had the same voxel sizes up to an EPSILON difference
New in Fiber Navigator Revision 1725 (Nov 19, 2012)
- Now supports Realtime tracking from HARDI data, using the maxima extracted from a fODF field
- Fixed the way cut boxes are computed
- Fixed a few small bugs
New in Fiber Navigator Revision 1669 (Oct 19, 2012)
- Better Realtime tracking using the Diffusion Tensors
- Faster maxima extraction for the ODFs
- Possibility to save and load maxima files
