  • Resolved speaker recording loss after switching Krisp speaker during a stream: Fixed the issue when selecting a different speaker and then reverting to Krisp speaker during a call resulted in lost speaker recording.
  • Fixed inaccurate display in some cases for non-English calls and call duration: Notifications for non-English or extended calls have been optimized to ensure clarity on Krisp's status.
  • User preferences for auto-open summary now save correctly: Adjustments to the auto-summarization settings will now be remembered without any issues, even when toggling the feature off and on.

  • Presenting Krisp Release 2.33.4 hotfix release, featuring the introduction of Krisp Bot for streamlined meeting participation. You can invite Krisp Bot for recording and transcribing the meeting directly through the Krisp app.
  • You can revoke its access at any time, but once revoked, Krisp Bot cannot be re-invited to the same meeting. Additionally, any recordings and transcriptions made with Krisp before inviting Krisp Bot during a meeting will be discarded to avoid confusion.

  • AI Meeting Assistant improvements:
  • Auto-open meeting page: Your post-call workflow just got smoother. Now, Krisp will automatically open the meeting page after a call ends. You can control this feature from the app settings to better fit your workflow.
  • Advanced calendar event settings: Personalize how you view your calendar events in the app with new adjustable settings:
  • Toggle the visibility of upcoming events next to the Krisp icon in the menu bar.
  • Choose to display the event title, with a customizable character limit for how it's shown in the menu bar. All settings are on by default, and Krisp will remember your choices.
  • Display consent text in Zoom: Enhance transparency by showing consent text next to your Zoom username when joining a meeting from Krisp app. This feature can be toggled from Krisp Settings.
  • Other improvements:
  • Enhanced Noise Cancellation: Integrated a new model that delivers better Noise Cancellation with less CPU usage, ensuring clearer audio while maintaining your system's performance.
  • Bug fixes:
  • Transcript retention after automatic logout: Fixed an issue where transcripts were lost if an automatic logout occurred after the end of a call.
  • "Get debug logs" progress issue: Resolved a bug where the progress circle within the "Get debug logs" function failed to complete, preventing the zipping and saving of logs.
  • UI positioning after restart: Addressed a glitch causing the UI to become partially visible after restarting the app when calendar access is granted.
  • Manual logout popup timing: Corrected the timing of the "Automatically signed out" popup to ensure it appears only when relevant, improving the manual logout process.
  • Audio stream continuity on macOS: On macOS, fixed a problem where the Krisp speaker stream appeared inactive after logging out and back in during an active stream. Users can now resume streaming seamlessly.
  • Transcript toggle with muted mic: Solved an issue where the transcript toggle was forcibly disabled when the selected physical microphone was muted, even though transcription continued to work.
  • Transcribe tab state preservation: Transcribe tab state preservation: Fixed a bug where switching from the paused Transcribe tab to Record & Transcribe didn't maintain the paused state in the app UI, but recording and transcribing was actually paused.
  • Recording upload fix: Resolved an issue preventing the upload of recordings to the web dashboard in some cases.
  • Stream restart on screen share via Zoom: Fixed a bug where streaming would restart after sharing the screen on Zoom using Krisp with macOS Sonoma 14.1.

  • We are pleased to introduce the new Recording feature to the Pro users, offering a simple and efficient way to capture your meetings.
  • Recording feature has multilingual support so that you can capture your meetings in all languages.

  • Enhanced speaker recognition with voice embeddings:
  • This update introduces Voice Embeddings to Krisp, enabling automatic speaker recognition in call transcripts.
  • Users can also manually assign speaker names, enhancing future automatic assignments. This feature optimizes transcription accuracy, ensuring a seamless experience for users.
  • Improvements:
  • For Mac users, we've made an enhancement to the Krisp app's behavior. Now, when you launch Krisp from the spotlight while it's already running, the Krisp app UI will open directly. This improvement ensures easy access to the Krisp UI, even if the app icon is concealed by the camera cutout.
  • Bug fixes:
  • Resolved an issue affecting Windows 11 users where Krisp would automatically log out after a machine restart. Now, after logging in to Krisp and restarting the machine, Krisp will maintain the login state as expected.
  • Addressed a problem where the Zoom ringtone was being removed when toggling on Krisp Speaker on Mac. This issue has been fixed, ensuring consistent audio experiences during Zoom calls.
  • Fixed the occurrence of the "Save transcript" window appearing after quitting or signing out of the app.

  • This release brings further enhancements to the AI Meeting Assistant, as well as other improvements and bug fixes.
  • AI Meeting Assistant improvements:
  • All the transcriptions now have a Transcripts Timeline broken down by speakers allowing easy navigation to the moments in the call when each participant spoke.
  • Improved the logic of matching the meetings with events from the Calendar and displaying correct titles for those in the Transcriptions.
  • Integration with Microsoft Calendar enables automatic syncing of meeting and participant information in the Transcripts.
  • In case there are overlapping meetings in the Calendar, you can manually select which meeting the Transcript is for.
  • If you have your Calendar linked to your Krisp account, the meeting participant names will be fetched from there for a more accurate depiction in the Transcripts.
  • You can however set speakers who were not initially listed in the Calendar event. Just start typing their names and the relevant contact will be brought up from your contact list.
  • Fixed the logic for how the dates for recurring calendar events are fetched in the Transcripts.
  • Other improvements and bug fixes:
  • Proxy server users can now provide proxy authentication details to Krisp for uninterrupted app usage.
  • We improved the Test Noise Cancellation flow for better user experience.
  • Unmuting Krisp will now unmute the selected device if it is muted from the system.
  • The Krisp icon will no longer get hidden in the "More tray icons menu" of Windows machines after app reinstall/update if it was previously dragged to the visible part of the system tray.
  • Fixed the issue if Krisp running on the wrong side of the screen after the first run on Windows 11.
  • Corrected prioritization of built-in devices on certain Windows machines to ensure proper device selection in the Krisp app for calls.
  • Addressed the problem of missing logout notification after the first logout from the app.

  • Krisp Widget will no longer pop up on the screen, and the Krisp Speaker will not display a warning icon in the app UI when the active audio stream is through the device audio settings.

  • This release brings the team-level settings for the devices used by the team for Background Voice Cancellation.
  • Features:
  • As a Business and Enterprise team admin, you can now manage how different devices used by team members work with Background Voice Cancellation. You can set the devices to:
  • always work with the Background Voice Cancellation,
  • always be disabled for it,
  • leave it to the user's choice,
  • or apply the automatic Krisp settings to those.
  • The settings can be accessed from the Admin Dashboard.

  • With this release, we fix the issue when you don’t hear other call participants if you use a Bluetooth headset on Windows 10 with the wrong configuration.
