What's new in MSD Tasks 6.70

  • Several changes have been made in order to improve the performance of the program in Windows 10.
  • Fixed an error caused by a Windows 10 update when opening the folder selection dialog
  • Recurring tasks are now updated correctly when the tasks database is filtered.

New in MSD Tasks 6.60 (May 22, 2017)

  • The Administrator of the Multiuser version allows to grant users access to tasks belonging to one or more groups.
  • The programs is shown correctly in screens with resolution higher than Full HD (1920x1080).
  • The update of Windows 10 Anniversary in August 2016 caused an error in the program start if a default printer was not assigned. This problem has been fixed.

  • New fields created in main databases to know date and time of creation and modification of every record, and to know the name of the user that created or modified them..
  • New access rights created in the Multiuser version to control the access of users to the history of tasks and auxiliary databases.
  • The data grid of the "Detailed tasks" view has been changed to the same full-featured data grid used in the auxiliary databases of the program, which features sorting, grouping and filtering.
  • When recurrent tasks are duplicated, the recurrence information is also duplicated.

New in MSD Tasks 6.00 (Apr 5, 2017)

  • New fields in Tasks database, Billing date, Billed hours, Billed amount, that allow storing information about billing of completed tasks.
  • New Billing module, that shows billing statistics for Work teams, Proyects and Clients.
  • New Tasks filters, that allow to select completed tasks billed and completed tasks not billed.
  • Options: new field that allows to set the billing amount per hour. This information will be used to suggest a billing amount for completed tasks based on billed hours.
  • History module is able now of sorting the database by Date correctly.
  • Client information is printed correctly now on Work orders.
  • Current Windows user is shown on the Status bar.
  • Program startup process has been improved.

  • The performance of the "Projects" module has been dramatically improved. This change is important when the database contains thousands of projects.

  • Several changes have been made in order to improve the performance of the program in Windows 8.
  • Spell checking has been added to Memo fields and Rich Text fields via context menu.
  • New option in the Tasks report selection dialog that allows to print the Notes field in the detailed report.

  • The filter arrow in the data grid column headers only shows when the mouse is moved over the column headers.
  • The visible columns menu of the data grids allows to drag columns to change their position in the table.
  • The data grids column filter allows to filter every single value.

  • The performance of the "Detailed tasks" module has been improved. This change is important when the database contains thousands of tasks.
  • The performance of the "Clients" module has been dramatically improved. This change is important when the database contains thousands of clients.
  • New tab "Complete information" in the "History" module.
  • Initial year and Final year filters have been substituted by initial date and final date filters, allowing more flexibility when applying date filters to the tasks database.
  • New "Export table data" option in the menu of the auxiliary modules data grids, which allows to export the information in Text, Html, XML and Excel formats.

  • From this version on, the number of work teams that can be entered in the program is unlimited.
  • When a periodic task is terminated, the new created task now sets to False the "Work Order printed" indicator.
  • The deletion of available records has been improved.
  • The image viewer takes into account the user privileges in order to modify the images.
  • Small changes in several parts of the program.

  • New "SpreadSheet" tool, which allows to open Excel spreadsheets.
  • All the records in main databases can contain an Excel compatible spreadsheet.
