New in SiteCafe 2.5.38 (Dec 17, 2009)

  • “Free access” by password:
  • You now have the option of setting a password in the configuration in order to make your WiFi network available for free access. This password can then be passed on to selected customers/guests. The terms of use must be accepted before the password can be entered.
  • User accounts:
  • MyPublicHotSpot user accounts work exactly the same as user accounts in SiteCafe.
  • Free Web sites:
  • Set up specific URLs for free access. Visiting these Web sites will then be free (e. g. visits to your homepage) while other Web sites will be subject to a charge.
  • Log files:
  • MyPublicHotSpot now stores all user activity in a log file. This will allow you to trace all URLs visited by your users.
  • Usage fee:
  • You can now easily set up usage fees for MyPublicHotSpot using the configuration tool.
  • Includes update 2.5.1: Fixes the backup when updating from version 2.1 or a beta version.

  • Lets users work on your machines as they would at any standard desktop PC. There are almost no restrictions to any available functions.
  • Uses DriveBack(tm) to reset the PC to its original condition after every restart
  • You can exclude individual folders from being protected, for instance, to retain game scores or log files after the end of the session
