  • Added check on connection to check private key file missing or wrong private key file/private key password.
  • Unified dialogs on deletion operation in local, remote and task planner area.
  • Fixed "Access Violation" error on closing WISE-FTP application in middle of remote connecting or performing remote operation.
  • Fixed wrong behavior on deletion several selected directories/files in remote files. It could delete objects that were not selected by user. This could happen if there are files and folders with similar names in the list.
  • Improved deletion operation itself. Now it works mush faster without long delay and remote area blinking.
  • Improved refresh operation for remote directories and files. Now it works much faster and smoother without flicking and delaying.
  • Fixed wrong behavior on refresh operation. If selected several objects in the remote file list, then after pressing F5 or performing the Refresh command, additional selected objects may appear in the list, although the user did not select them. This could happen if there are files and folders with similar names in the list.
  • Fixed "Invalid class typecast" error message on renaming directory (F2) in the remote directories area.
  • Added adoptive popup menu on connection tab. It behaves depending on connection tab state (empty, connected). Now for empty tab it show "Connect" command, for connected tab it shows such commands as: "Connect New", "Duplicated", and "Disconnect".
  • Changed option "Enable moving directories on server with drag-and-drop" in "Preferences › Enhanced option" to "Enable moving objects on server with drag-and-drop". Now this option works in both for remote directories and remote files. Before this option works only for remote directories.

  • Task Planner: Improved stop command for task planner. Now it stops a task without crashes. Improved disable command for task planner. It stops active/pending task and do not allow to start again on repeat interval.
  • Task Planner: added ability to start/stop Task Planner service from WISE-FTP application without launching WISE-FTP as Admin. Now, on starting/stopping Task Planner service, WISE-FTP application shows regular elevation confirmation message.
  • Task Planner: fixed freezing problem after › 24 h of working.
  • Task Planner: fixed memory leak.
  • Task Planner: fixed task freezing after stopping and starting the task planner service. If a task was in an active state, then after restarting the task planer it could remain in this state without performing any useful work.
  • Task Planner: fixed bug in starting/stopping Task Planner service from WISE-FTP application.
  • Task Planner: fixed bug in task planer master. On creating task for downloading file, when selecting a local file, it is no longer required to have it on the local computer.
  • Task Planner: fixed bug for scheduled tasks marked as "Delete task after completion". It did not delete task after completion. Now, after task deleted from the task planner list, the Task Planner service adds in task planner log a line about this event.
  • Task Planner: fixed bug for stopping scheduled task if tasks is running.

New in WISE-FTP 10.0.7 (Sep 25, 2020)

  • With some FTP servers, WISE-FTP sometimes disconnected the user and displayed an error message in the "530 You are not logged in" protocol when the user tried to navigate to a folder on the server. This error has been corrected.

  • The transfer speed of Wise-Ftp has been significantly increased: With pure FTP/FTPES protocols it now works about ten times faster.

New in WISE-FTP 7.0.0 (Apr 29, 2011)

  • Faster data transfers: WISE-FTP will now start to transfer data, while it is still creating a list of all files to be transferred in the background. Thus, the transfer of huge amounts of data will be realized even faster.
  • Synchronized Browsing: This new feature allows you to change the directories on your PC and the FTP server simultaneously if the directory structure is identical. If you change to another directory on one side, WISE-FTP will automatically update the view on the other side.
  • New dialog for already existing files: If a file which is currently being transferred already exists on the target system, a new dialog field will allow you to choose from several options to decide how to proceed with that file.
  • Change up-/download priority: For files which are already in the tranfer queue can now set a lower or higher priority. Thus, you can move single files to the top or on the bottom of the transfer list if you are tranferring a huge number of files.
  • Improved transfer statistics: Detailed status information will now show you exactly how many files have already been transferred and how many are still in the transfer queue.
  • Improved Draq & Drop: The draq & drop of files and directories was improved, so that you can drag them to the desired target position and drop them there.
  • Improved editing of files on the server: Edit files on the server now even more comfortably in the integrated editor.
  • Improved Site Manager: Several improvements in the Site Manager make managing the FTP profiles even easier.
  • An option Program Start Mode was added which, e.g., allows you to reopen the last used connections when starting the program.
  • The program was redesigned with full Unicode support.
  • Implicit SSL and an improved support of secure tranfers via SSL/TSL were implemented.
  • Automatic detection of a server's supported features during the connecting process.
  • Improved working with Unicode-capable servers.
  • The possibility to preserve the file time after uploading on servers with support of MFTM command was added.
  • New option to change the notation of file names during the transfer to upper case or lower case.
