- This new update is so that we can offer the most robust, resilient VPN based product on the market, that just works no matter where you are.
- Within certain networks and environments our Apps & Browser Extensions were unable to reach our infrastructure, which is necessary to establish an encrypted tunnel and provide a secure and free internet experience to the user. This was usually caused by blocking direct network communication to specific domain names owned by us.
- To remedy these situations we've built a system which allows our browser add-on to detect these situations and switch to a "resilient mode" automatically, without degrading user experience. In this resilient mode the initial network communication (which is TLS encrypted) will be routed indirectly, through large internet backbones and services.
- We're committed to provide a consistent user experience world-wide. As the internet is constantly advancing and ever changing we will also adapt and refine our technology as well. With the enhancements described above we feel comfortable to be ready for future developments in personal rights infringements.
