  • This is a minor feature and bug fix update.

New in iDailyDiary Professional 4.00 (Jul 2, 2018)

  • Here's a list of changes in this update (since the previous 3.94 release), note some of these features are only available in the Professional version:
  • New: Internet Cloud support, backup and restore diary to Dropbox (other services to be added shortly)
  • New: Added rotate image button in image Properties
  • Improvement: Search routines updated and improved to find text embedded with multiple fonts/tab characters
  • Improvement: Search Results now displays most recent entry/found match first, can be switched back to original in Preferences - Settings
  • Improvement: Topic entries in tree-view now display most recent entry first, can be switched back to original in Preferences - Settings
  • Improvement: Various dialogue windows are now resizeable, and will remember their size and position.

  • Here's a list of changes in this update (since the previous 3.93 release), note some of these features are only available in the Professional version:
  • New: Option to Auto-Capitilize new sentences (in Preferences - Settings, or F4)

  • Calendar Bar shows empty days as used days when the default page name is 'Page [n]' - fixed.
  • When running a another instance of iDD.exe when iDailyDiary is already running, the first instance now correctly comes to the foreground.
  • Changing the font type and size from the drop down list can now be undone in one undo, not two.

  • Multiple Languages. iDailyDiary now available in Chinese, Dutch, French, German and Italian.
  • Live Spelling, check spelling as you type. Can be turned off in Preferences.
  • Import File. (File - Import File... menu option).
  • Printing page orientation is stored for each tab.
  • Each page tab now stores (and restores) the location of the text cursor when the page contents is saved.
  • When following a diary link, you can press Alt+Backspace to return to tab you followed link from, or right click 'previous day' button.
  • Text Statistics on Tools Menu (only displays Word Count at the moment, other stats to follow)
  • Numbered bullets now pick up current font style and color.
  • Manual Backup now pops-up 'backing up' message

  • The main improvement is that iDailyDiary is now ready to be translated into other languages. If you would like to do a translation please email us. There are several other new features and improvements in this update.
