Clearly not your typical computer guy, it’s very likely that you’ll find me up in the mountains on a regular basis, maybe high up on some rock climbing route, plowing my way up some snowy ridge or rushing at full speed down the local trails on my mountain bike.

However, there’s more to the outdoor aficionado in me, and although I take great pride in my outings, I also revel in technology, to the same degree, if not more — and this might very well be the paradox of my existence. Long ago, I came to terms with the fact that computers and technology govern our lives, to a lesser or greater extent. Witnessing the transition from an analog to a completely digital form for hobbies such as photography or high-fidelity sound reproduction has made the paradigm shift almost indistinguishable for me. Embracing technology came as a warm, welcoming stage.

Being a Softpedian allows me the opportunity to explore and play around with various types of software, thus continuing to fulfill my passion for technology. The implications of which become even more rewarding for me — knowing that somewhere, at some point, someone has found the right application, maybe thanks to our help.
