Start Menu X continues to be a very popular application that can bring a fully featured Start button and menu in Windows 8 and 8.1, so every update is being delivered to millions of users across the world.

Version 5.02 was officially launched this morning and brings several unnamed bug fixes, which means that users who deploy the update should no longer experience crashes and other performance issues.

At the same time, the update also includes a new feature for the Pro version that makes the app automatically select “Main in Folder” for your most important programs stored on the local drives.

Of course, version 5.02 continues to offer support for both Windows 8 and 8.1, so you can download Start Menu X right now even if you’ve already installed Microsoft’s latest operating system on the OS market.
