Start Menu X continues to be one of the top Start Menu apps available on Windows 8 and Windows 8.1 right now, so updates are quite critical for a big number of users.

A new version was officially released this morning, bringing only a few improvements, but it’s still a fairly important update for all those who had previously installed it.

Start Menu X 5.121 fixes a bug that, according to the official release notes provided to us this morning, so expect the application to come with fewer bugs and enhanced stability.

Of course, the application continues to provide support for basically all versions of Microsoft’s modern operating system, which includes Windows 8 and Windows 8.1, in both 32- and 64-bit flavors.

The feature lineup remains unchanged, which means that you get a customizable Start menu in the left bottom corner of your screen, a power buttons panel which can be further tweaked, and a so-called power timer feature that gives users the option to delay any power management operation.

Overall, this new update should come in handy to all users who need to make the modern operating system look and feel a bit more familiar, so download Start Menu X 5.121 for Windows 8 right now.
