The ISO images can be mounted as virtual drives and used just like any other physical partitions to install Windows or Office from, turned into bootable USB flash drives to set up a fresh copy of Windows or Office on a PC, or used to create virtual machines with multiple operating systems running on the same host computer. Getting started
Before using this tool, make sure you have .NET Framework and Internet Explorer. IE is needed because of its download manager, which will be used by this app to obtain the ISO images. Otherwise, you can copy the direct links to retrieve the ISOs through other download managers.
Windows ISO Downloader doesn't require installation itself, so you can double-click the downloaded .exe file to launch the program. Also, it can be stored on a USB flash drive to directly run it on any PC which has the previously mentioned requirements, in order to download Windows and Office ISO images.
Choose the Windows or Office version and edition
The Windows and Office versions available for download are listed in a column on the right, so you can check the box of the one you're interested in: Windows 7, Windows 8.1, Windows 10, Windows 10 Insider Preview, Office 2007, Office 2010 or Office 2013/2016.
Once you make the selection, Windows ISO Downloader opens a new area, where you can click the menu to Select the edition of the Windows or Office product you're interested in. For example, the Windows 7 editions up for downloading include Home Basic SP1, Home Premium SP1, Ultimate K SP1, Starter SP1 COEM, Professional KN SP1 COEM, and Ultimate KN SP1 COEM, among others.
Select the product language and architecture type
Click Confirm, click the new menu to Select the product language, click Confirm, then Choose a link below to begin the download by picking the architecture type between 32-bit and 64-bit, depending on what you prefer. For example, virtual machine tools work with 32-bit Windows.
After clicking the link, Internet Explorer will begin saving the ISO image to the folder of your choice. If you prefer another download manager, then you can click Copy Link for 32 bit or Copy Link for 64 bit instead of the 32-bit Download or 64-bit Download buttons, in order to paste the URL into another download manager and start the operation. Make sure to use the direct links before the Links expire (they are valid for 24 hours from the time of creation, and the date and time of expiration is listed in this window). Otherwise, you'll have to start everything from scratch using this application.
