ForwardMail

ForwardMail is a lightweight Windows email utility developed to help you retrieve and forward incoming email messages to other accounts. It lets you work with 10 email accounts.

In case you need to manage data for more than 10 accounts, you can have a look at the advanced version of the tool, ForwardMail Advanced30, which offers support for 30 mail accounts.

The GUI looks clean and simple at a first glance. It records and reveals information about the number of emails, account, date, subject, as well as the email addresses of the sender and receiver.

You may start or abort the current task, check out the log panel, and open up the configuration window for each email account. All features and settings are pretty easy to decode and work with up to this point. What’s hidden under the program’s hood, more specifically the configuration parameters look unintuitive and crowded.

ForwardMail gives you the possibility to set up a new email account by providing information about the name, checking the account at a custom time (in minutes), and entering the email addresses you want to forward data to.

You are allowed to give details about the mailbox (e.g. address, user ID, password, POP server, SMTP server, port number), enable SSL connections, delay POP/SMTP authentication, and delete incoming mails after forwarding them.

Other configuration options enable you to filter mail by size, convert HTML mail to plain text, strip additional address info, limit the subject length, forward only MIME emails with attached files, set up custom filters, tweak mobile parameters, schedule the forwarding process, set up a master password, and delete all incoming mail when quitting the program.

ForwardMail lets you back up all account settings to a file so you can easily restore data in case of errors, copy account settings to a template, and import/export account info from/to CSV file format.

To sum things up, ForwardMail delivers a powerful suite of features for helping you retrieve and forward email messages to other accounts. On the downside, the configuration panel is not intuitive, so first-time users may need extra time in order to get used to working with it.
