Dj ProMixer

Dj ProMixer is an advanced audio application whose purpose is to help you mix music using a comprehensive set of audio tools.

The utility is compatible with various MIDI and HD controllers, such as Pioneer CDJ 350, Pioneer CDJ 400, Numark NDX900, Numark ICDX, Behringer BCD 3000, Hercules DJ Console MK4, Ion Discover DJ, Numark Stealth Control, Reloop Digital Jockey, and Vestax VCI 100.

The GUI adopts the traditional dual deck panel where you can import two audio files at the same time. It looks clean and provides a fast learning curve. There’s also support for a help manual in case you want to find out more about the tool’s capabilities.

You get access to the files and folders stored in your computer directly from the program’s interface so you can quickly import audio files in the desired deck.

The decks show waveforms and information about the BPM, percentage change in pitch, elapsed and remaining time, as well as artist and title of the song.

Dj ProMixer lets you import various audio files, such as MP3, MP2, MP1, OGG, WAV, AIFF, WMA, and AAC.

You can alter the sound using an advanced pitch controller and work with a multifunctional wheel for manipulating effects (like bend and scratch), viewing the direction of the track, and checking out an analog VU.

Main playback controls allow you to play or pause the track, and stop the selection and place it in the CUE point. The memory cue panel comes with support for buttons to memorize and play CUE points.

What’s more, you can synchronize the two tracks loaded on the decks, control the main output volume of each deck, tweak the gain, EQ high, middle, bass and headphone volume, and apply several effects, like echo and flanger.

Dj ProMixer gives you the possibility to allocate six different samplers individually to each deck and enable the automix mode for playing the audio content from a playlist.

The program lets you configure the soundcard, set the maximum time of fading in and out effects, change the looks of the GUI with the aid of skins, and tweak the system performance (high, medium or low).

You can show or hide a keyboard, run the tool in full screen mode, create, edit or delete playlists, organize files on the system in groups and subgroups, and work with an automatic BPM counter.

Dj ProMixer comes equipped with reliable audio tools for helping you mix audio files, and is suitable especially for professional users. There’s also support for a software version of the program designed specifically for netbooks, called DJ ProMixer Netbook Edition.
