Chapter Master

Even though it can be argued that it is not the same as actually reading, listening to audiobook certainly has its perks. Not only are they highly entertaining and perhaps help you engage with a book better, but it also allows you to do something else while listening.

Chapter Master is an application designed for users with very little time on their hands, but that also enjoy immersing themselves in the intrigue or adventure of their favorite book.

Even though it does not come in the prettiest package, the utility includes an intuitive interface that is fairly easy to navigate. You can load in the audiobook file with drag and drop and then create the desired chapters by accessing the Add Now button, located in the lower section of the screen.

You should know that the application enables you to add a different image for each chapter, an option that can help you identify them easier. The app permits you to edit the metadata of the audiobook and apply the same info for the pictures you are appending to the chapters.

It is worth mentioning that the program enables you to save your file in an AAC file format that you can easily import into iTunes. Consequentially, you can transfer the chapters to your iPod or iPhone and listen to audiobook whenever you have some spare time.

Since the application allows you to create custom length chapters, you can create items as long as your break time or the time it takes you to drive to work. Once they are on the iDevice, you should be able to navigate between the chapters using the back and forward controls, so you can find the one you left off.

In the eventuality that you have little free time, but also enjoy catching up with your lectures via audiobooks, then Chapter Master enables you to split in the books into chapters that you can import to iTunes and listen to on your iDevice regardless of your location or the task you are completing.
