Media Gallery Manager

Media Gallery Manager is an approachable and reliable program designed to offer an easy way of organizing your photo collection, and it lets you import images from a Zenfolio account. The application supports JPEG, TIFF, PNG, and GIF formats.

It's wrapped in a slick and intuitive layout, divided into three panels which can be resized to a desired length by dragging its corners. The first one shows a tree structure of the available folders, and the second offers a list of all the files in the selected directory. The third panel displays account login information.

You can insert images from your computer by browsing their location or by syncing your account with all the stored items. The sync process enables you to quickly upload lots of photos and preserve their folder structure. Media Gallery Manager lets you select exclusion filters like name or size, while all files and directories that match any of the defined fields are ignored and not uploaded during synchronization.

When starting an upload or download process, the tool creates a new task, adds it to the queue, and handles the files in the inserted order. On the local hard drive, pictures are usually organized in a tree structure, and each folder can contain photos or subdirectories. Groups can be seen as nodes while galleries are leafs. The tool doesn't offer a way of maintaining collections of recently added images. Both download and upload lists of finished and successful items can be cleared, while gallery and transfer toolbars can be enabled or disabled from the panel.
