C-IP

C-IP is an Electron-based application that gets integrated into the systray to reveal your public IP address as well as WLAN address. It's ideal for users who aren't familiar enough with the console environment to fire up Command Prompt or PowerShell each time it's necessary to extract their public IP and WLAN addresses, whether they have to share them with friends when hosting a LAN party, or something else.

To set up this program, you have to go through a fast and straightforward setup operation where your input isn't required. Afterward, C-IP creates an icon in the taskbar notifications area. Hovering the mouse cursor over this icon isn't enough to view your IP address, so you have to right-click it instead (they are displayed in a menu).

The interface consists of this systray icon and menu alone, so there aren't additional buttons or menus that can be explored to extend the application's functionality. Two options are listed in the right-click menu for copying either the public IP or WLAN address, respectively, which can be then pasted from your clipboard and used in your various projects. There's also a setting for quitting to the desktop, which can be also done by clicking Ctrl+Q.
