Cosmic Everyday

It doesn’t matter if you work as freelancer or in a corporate environment; managing your projects is vital to your work. Sure, a lot of productivity tools may seem annoying (mostly because they have the audacity of reminding you about work), but that doesn’t mean they can’t be helpful, especially when you find it more and more difficult to keep track of your projects.

There are certainly many organizer tools out there, some more efficient than the others. Today, we’re going to take a look at what makes Cosmic Everyday special.

Well, no, not really, but life has taught me not miss any opportunity for bad puns. Even though it’s not really cosmic, this application is nothing short of impressive. The interface is beautifully designed and multicolored, although purple dominates the default Cosmic color theme. Even though you’ll be able to switch to Dark or Light mode, you’ll probably find it hard to get bored with the standard pattern.

You start organizing your projects by creating notebooks, for which you can also set cover photos. The program even comes with a few inspirational “unsplashy” pictures of its own that are very eye-pleasing and relaxing, especially when combined with the color theme.

Inside each notebook, you can add new cards (not unlike you would do in Trello). The cards represent individual projects, where you can write stylized text, add images, videos and other attachments. You can create a list of tasks, mark them as done, but also relabel each of these cards. The five default labels are Done, Idea, Important, Urgent and Favorite, but you can add more, each with different colors and icons.

You can set deadlines for each task, but also activate a timer while you work. Last but not least, you can have text read to you using the application’s efficient text-to-speech tool. There’s no doubt that Cosmic Everyday is a powerful project organizing tool that comes with many useful features.
