Take your Twitch streams to the next level with the help of this tool, which was designed to enhance the interactivity with your viewers #Twitch Stream #Vtube Stream #Twitch Livestream #Twitch #Vtube #Vtuber
Streaming on Twitch presents plenty of opportunities for the streamer and the viewer to interact with each other, making the phenomenon bring about a new era of parasocial relationships. To further that, tools to empower the streamer-viewer interaction are rapidly surfacing.
As VTubing happens to be very popular at the moment, the virtual personas of streamers lend themselves quite well to boosting interactivity. When paired with a program such as Twitch Item Flood, which grants the viewers the ability to flood the streamer's broadcast with objects, the livestream spectators get to assume a more active role in this relationship.
This software allows a stream's viewers to flood the streamer with various, randomized objects, which appear on the broadcast's feed. It's a pretty to-the-point affair, where the streamer only has to authorize the program through Twitch, then connect it as a source in OBS.
The process is simple and doesn't take long: add the program as Game Capture and toggle transparency, and that's the OBS setup done.
If you wish to customize the behavior of the program, you can do so in its settings. You can have the screen automatically clear after a set number of objects are on it, and users can also tweak the triggers for an object to spawn.
Depending on your preferences, you can choose when objects get to spawn. For instance, you can have objects flood your screen when one or more users follow your channel, or when someone subscribes or gifts subs. The same applies to raids and bits — depending on your settings, objects can flood your screen however many times you want, based on the chat's interaction. You can even have a sound play each time something is spawned.
Twitch Item Flood in a fun app to use. It's even better when you see it being implemented: the object collision is satisfying to see, and it's overall a program more streamers should use.
What's new in Twitch Item Flood 1.5:
- New spawning options! Keywords, chat commands, and emotes! (See respective sections below for more info.)
- Item Profiles now save images to a file instead of saving like a thousand pngs! This makes it a lot cleaner to share them and back them up.
- Old item profiles will automatically convert to this new format so long as you drag them into the Item Profile folder. Just make sure you have backups of any pngs.
- There's now a loading pop-up that shows when stuff in the background is taking a while! This works with turning the menu on/off, swapping item profiles, and loading new images.
