IPXWrapper

IPXWrapper is a wrapper library that was developed in order to allow users that are struggling to run legacy games or certain legacy programs which rely on IPX support by emulating the said protocol when tunneling packets over UDP.

By running this package wrapper, one can run the legacy software without having to resort to installing the now obsolete, IPX driver, which has been discontinued as of Windows Vista and Server 2008 editions.

There are a number of legacy games which have been found to be available for running with this library, some of which include: Atomic Bomberman, Carmegeddon, Delta Force 2, Diablo, Outlive and much more.

Featuring a single layout, the program offers users the choice of selecting a preferred interface from the available ones and it automatically detects all the available network adapters. Each adapter can be individually customized in terms of interface, port or firewall exceptions.

Users can choose for the app to log all debugging messages and WinSock API calls or send and receive real IPX packets.

Last but not least, the network number and node can be individually adjusted for each of the interfaces of the selected adapters, be it the Wildcard interface or TAP-Windows Adapter.
