RISASection is a handy application designed to help structural engineers to design any type of cross section with minimum effort. The program includes a large library with the standard shapes used for concrete and steel beams.
The program allows you to combine the shapes and to use multiple materials when you are creating the model. You can use it to calculate its properties, including the torsion constant.
The results of the calculation can be viewed in the program or printed as a detailed report that includes the design and the property tables.
System requirements
- Pentium 3 or better processor

- 200 MB of hard disk space
- Two or three button mouse (wheel recommended)
Limitations in the unregistered version
- You cannot save or print your work
- DXF import is disabled
- Sections are limited to only 2 shapes
